These terms govern every rental booked through WERONX. Please read them before you create an account or place an order.
Every order placed through WERONX is a rental, not a purchase. Ownership of the garment or accessory never transfers to you. You're renting the piece for the dates shown at checkout and agree to return it, undamaged and by the agreed return date, in the condition it was delivered in (normal wear excepted).
The rental price, any optional damage protection fee, and a refundable security deposit are charged at checkout via our payment processor. The rental price and damage protection fee are non-refundable once the rental period begins. The security deposit is held, not spent. See Section 4.
You're responsible for the item from delivery until we confirm its return. Minor, reasonable wear is expected and not charged. Damage beyond normal wear, staining that can't be professionally cleaned, or failure to return the item may result in a deduction from your deposit, an additional charge up to the item's full retail value, or both. Items reported lost or stolen are handled under Section 6.
The refundable security deposit is authorised or collected at checkout and released back to you after the item is returned and inspected, minus any deductions under Section 3. Verified customers (see Section 6) may qualify for a reduced deposit. Deposits are typically released within a few business days of the item passing inspection.
You may cancel a booking before the rental period begins, subject to the cancellation window and any fee shown on your order at the time of cancellation. Once a rental period has started, the rental price and damage protection fee are non-refundable.
To help prevent theft and non-return of rented items, WERONX may ask you to complete identity verification (Ghana Card or passport scan plus a live selfie) before you can check out. The specific data we collect, how it's stored, and the circumstances under which it may be shared with law enforcement are described in full, in plain language, on the separate verification consent screen shown immediately before that process begins. You must read and agree to that consent screen specifically; agreeing to these Terms alone does not cover it. In short: verification data is only ever shared with law enforcement in cases of confirmed theft or non-return of a rented item.
